We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is perfect for nature lovers like us, with great hiking trails nearby. We were amazed by the beautiful geo-thermal area and the stunning mountain landscapes all around. This place is nestled in a picturesque valley, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and offered us a refreshing drink upon arrival. We were delighted with the room amenities, including the cozy heating, mini-bar, and comfortable sitting area. The terrace with garden furniture was a nice touch, allowing us to relax and soak in the breathtaking views. We also appreciated the free toiletries provided and the shared kitchen facility. The dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were excellent, and the picnic area with tables was a perfect spot for enjoying our packed lunches. The hotel staff even catered to special dietary needs, which was a thoughtful touch. our experience here was truly enjoyable and memorable.

I had an incredible stay at Highland Base! The location was perfect for exploring the geothermal area, and the cute cabins were cozy with good heating. The highlight for me was the restaurant, where I enjoyed delicious waffles and the best chocolate cake ever. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the community kitchen was clean. The scenery around the hotel was breathtaking, we really enjoyed exploring the nearby mountains and valleys. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay more enjoyable. The room we stayed in was also comfortable and warm, which was a pleasant surprise given how remote the location was.

The food options were incredibly limited and expensive. the lack of privacy in some of the rooms was uncomfortable and made us feel unsafe.

Guests can enjoy clean rooms and a rustic atmosphere with basic but quality food options.

Some guests complained about poor sound insulation in some of the lodgings, leading to noise disturbances.
